    This is weird just going up rml I'd take it to the dealer and say trans temp is getting hot driving in the mtns.

    because turd gen.

    The thermostats don't open until 205*F from my understanding and will close again at 195*F...I guess they designed the tranny to run hotter, but IMO I'd rather pin the thermostat in the warmer months and extend the life of the fluid and the trans...mine runs 150-160*F with the pinned thermostat.

    I'd personally rather get a lower temp thermostat or drill a couple of small holes in the t-stat. That way it still will operate.
