Debating whether or not I wanna drop $1,100 on wheels OTD or not

aaaaand in other news, doing yet another mod that probably should've been one that was already done by Toyota (in the factory)

LEDs in the glovebox with a push switch so they come on when you open it/turn off when you close it

 

What about a spare?

 

Currently have a Pelfreybilt HC with swing out being made, so once that gets here & installed (ETA Aug/Sept) -- then I'll have more funds for a bigger tire spare & to pony up some more for an extra FJ wheel

 

It's made by sterling equipment they're based in Florida. Has the winch tray on it I just don't have a winch mounted in there. Probably gonna be replacing it with a bumper in the future.

Ok so apparently I read some bad info of somebody not so much in the know? I thought that you couldn't put them higher then the lowest setting w/ aftermarket coils cuz it'll damage & put too much stress on the shocks?

 

When I was doing my research, I asked the guy from Wheeler's Offroad, and he told me that I can go up to the 2.5 setting without needed any other parts, using the stock coils and other parts if they were good condition.

 

Exactly what i'm doing. Stock sport coils over 5100s set to 2.5". I'll upgrade UCAs and coils when I get some armor.

 

Just know that with that much pre load it's going to be a harsher ride.

Set of 4 ordered from Frank Motors Toyota in National City CA in Feb 2015 for $640 delivered.

Spare ordered from Conicelli Toyota in Conshohocken PA in Apr 2016 for $160 shipped.

It looks like prices have gone up across the board for them though. I was able to get 10% off by adding the wheels to my cart, filling out the contact info, and then closing the page. Day or 2 later they both emailed me promo codes.

No way I’d spend $1100 for 4... I’d look at the eBay TRD Trail Team “style” ones for half that price. Or get a set of SCS F5s or TRD SEMA Pro wheels.

 

Did you follow the write ups on here for that? Where did you source it? Been putting this off for waaaaayyyy to long

 

Finally got around to installing my 2 fog lights, now is the debate if I want 2 more in the middle?

 

Where did you find the new PRNDL ??
