Yeah the dirt kings match my uppers and are cheaper plus matchy matchy FTW. but thinking of going rebuild right now and later on get complete new lowers and have rebuilds as backups.

What did they quote you? I found a few places close to springfield with decent prices. You can find newer ARE on CL for 1/2 off all the time. They are $2000 minimum new usually got for $1000-1200 on CL.

The quote I got for everything I wanted on it was gonna be $2300 out the door. I will definitely keep looking around.

Sooo i ordered an awning. Why you ask? Who the f knows. Buuut its 8' long. My question is do i need to worry about flex between the bed and cab? Will that area move enough to affect this awning nonsense?

 

I just posted several on the craigslist page.. but damn, you got the 8' one? where are you mounting it?

Choose to mount it on the cab OR cap rack. Dont combine the mounting points. Your frame does flex, and when it does, the mounting point is the weakest part, and will break.
