    Hey guys,

I'm new and learning. I've tried to find simple information on this, and I guess I'm learning that everything in 4x4 upgrading is hard. lol.

Many people have told me to lose the poorly rated tires on my 2018 stock TRDOR, and got with a "C" rated tire.

From what I can learn, C rating has to do with weight capacity.

Honestly, can't figure out much more than that. Apparently for truck tires a letter system is used, but it's not obvious to me where to see this information.

Are there threads about this already? Anyone wanna explain it like I'm five?

    thanks,

Thanks guys, Ill get to studying.

There is no letter rating on the wide of my Goodyear Wrangle all terrains.. is that because it's a generic rating, so it's not listed?

I believe your stock tires are an SL rating.
