    Well I just had to try the grillgrates on the gasser with a Ribeye cap steak. Pretty sure I have said more than once that propane just can't grill a steak near as well as charcoal. I might not be buying any more charcoal on the 4th of July sale think I have enough for wings and the smoker now to make it to the labor day sale.

    600 deg. on lid thermometer and 850 at grate level. With cherry wood.

    Was just terrible but I managed to choke it down :rofl: Have another one thawing in the fridge right now for tonight. I better get some more propane soon :anonymous:

    Big Bob Gibson’s (supposedly who came up with “white” sauce dunks his half birds in a thinner version and throws them back on the pit for the last few minutes. Mine is much thicker and is used as a dipping sauce.

    I feel same but not about good pan fried in butter trout dusted in flour. Yum as fck. Perfect camp breakfast.
