Oh I ordered some cheap window tint for the truck from the Amazon Racing Department. I know I know, "you get what you pay for", but I ordered it anyways. Full cab 5% for $40. I'll let you guys know how it goes

I bought the 5-lug without a title, which is why it was so cheap at $600. After looking at many, many ways on how to secure a legal title - ultimately the best and cheapest option was to register it in Vermont which does not require prior documentation of ownership, and does not require you to be a resident of the state.

If you look at my 5-lug in my signature, you'll notice it has California plates. That's because it's been in the state 99% of its life, after being bought in Sparks, Nevada. IF I chose to re-activate the CA plates after re-securing the California title, I would be looking at almost $1,000 in California DMV and CHP backfees. Since I am registering it as an out-of-state vehicle, I only have to pay about $200 for the registration transfer and titling fees once I get it SMOG'd.

Was browsing through some 80 series trip logs and such and this pic impressed me, literally didn't notice the 40" tire it dropped so low.

Jesus Christ what the hell is going on in the rear. Are those lift leafsprings? That $300 is worth it for the bed alone.

Is your Cruiser IFS or Solid Axle?

If that picture is yours, I am guessing it's a solid axle.

I’d imagine, they cut the bottom of the bed out so that’s dumb, could maybe have some potential to the right buyer.
    Not for me.

Officially the 70s and 79s are the last, as they're still being made. Did you know that they made 80s and 1FZ engines into 2006 for the Venezuelan market?

Is it true the LX470 is just a 'luxury rebadged' Land Cruiser?

Does anyone even eat at IHOP anymore?

What a lot of people don't know about these 24 hour breakfast food places is they're generally the dirtiest filthiest kitchens ever.

Yup, LX450 is the Lexus version of my cruiser (80 series), LX470 is a 100 series, GX470 is a 120 series

Obviously you haven't been to a Chinatown dim sum place before.

I'd still eat there though. Shit is like crack.

What would be the difference from a Toyota version? Just the badging and I'm guessing some tech upgrades on the newer models?

It has softer suspension and nicer interior but all the aftermarket toyota stuff bolts up to it
And no sliding rear window which is my favorite part of the 80
