Yeah it's useless. I set it up to play with it, realized it's pointless, and then turned off the feature. I had trouble connecting the app to it.

 

mine has the wireless temp monitor.. but now I see your point

 

I just don't feel the need to want to know what temp my fridge currently is haha just set it at whatever you want, and forget it.
