Yes, I will. It will drive me crazy not to change it, now that I know is wrong.

Sounds good, did you buy the angles online or did you just go to a hardware store?

Ace hardware has pre cut aluminum angle that I’ve already scoped out, haven’t purchased it yet.

I flipped the fairing around, now the Prinsu logo is on the passenger side. Took me like 10 minutes.

    Am legal now!

It's a new toprac offered on the prinsu site, with 6 separately purchased low profile feet (which I had to modify, make sure your tracks are 42" apart on center or closer) and 5 additional crossbars (need one more though)

I'm assuming most Prinsu racks I see are mounted using their standard height feet? Anyone use the low-profile (½") feet? I'll be mounting my tent on the Toprac, so I figure the low-profile will be harder to get in there to work. Thanks for the help!

I recently installed a toprac on my shell using the low profile feet, as long as your tracks are within 42 inches of each other it should be fine, I had to modify the feet because my tracks were further apart. You should also make sure your cap is rated to hold that kind of weight.

The prinsu itself, the tent, and your body weight add up

Edit: Regarding your actual question though I had no problem with the low profile aspect of installing the rack, unless your cap is extra rounded for some reason it should be fine.

I had to put a few nylon washers on my 4 corner fee to level it out. Not ideal but almost a year later with no problems!

How many mounting feet are you using? I just bought a prinsu toprac for my LEER and its came standard with 4 mounting feet and im thinking of adding two more to help distribute the weight of my RTT.

I have the same question. I figure two more feet mounted to the rails would distribute weight a lot better, but am assuming the rails themselves are doing the job of distributing the weight. I’m not structural engineer tho!

3in lift. 285X70RX17. 3/4"Bora Spacers. Softopper. Prinsu Rack w/ 40" (amazon) light bar. Spyder Headlights. LED strips installed under bed rails.
I just got the seal they sell as an add on. I don’t have any noise with my light bar at all. You might just have to fidget with it - adjust angles, etc.
