This is great paint. Do light coats, be patient, then one nice final heavy coat.

I'm a minority I guess. I like the grill but hate the chrome trim. It just stares at me.

Is this where you disconnect the TSS? Separate the two wired connections and squeeze the brownish tab on top of the right side of the grill to pop through? There is no release button correct, just pull and pray you don’t break anything?

That looks really good. They should come like that from the factory. Can't wait to get mine done. Any tips on the install?

I found this video. The only part I'm not sure about is him removing all the screws inside, then coming back later and saying he didn't think you need to remove them. What's the consensus, remove the screws or leave them?

Thanks. It’s a pretty simple install. I just removed the entire grill assemly, and then removed the bezel. It has 8 phillips screws and clips holding it on. After I removed all the screws I just worked my way around clip by clip squeezing gently with some small channel locks. Snap the new one in and do it in reverse. Maybe 20 minutes total.

Perfect, that answers the question about the screws. How about unplugging the TSS. Do you just pull or is there a tab to set that one free?

I didn’t even unplug it. I Just let the whole assembly kinda hang there while I removed the bezel.

Did you remove TSS plug? Also did you have to remove screws on the grill to remove bezel?

Yeah just unplugged the TSS and yes there are think 10-12 screws plus the clips to get the chrome bezel separated from the main part of the grill.

Thanks for the info. They must have added those for the 18 models bc most videos I have seen they can remove without the screw. However, they weren’t off-road models with TSS

At least I think there were some screws, now I'm wondering myself. LOL Either way it takes all of about 10 minutes to get the grill off the truck and take it all apart.

Thanks, might take mine off and see if I can put some darker transparent tape on the emblem without messing with TSS. Trying to get all black to.

I did the chrome delete. Other than the lights, it's all gone. The lights and the emblem don't bother me.
