@E-Paz 732NJ I'd be happy yo build a rack for you. Most try to put their tents just at the cab or at most a few inches taller than the cab. Depending on the height of your tent, I offer various height bars to accomodate.

If you need a height different than my standard (0",4",8",12",cab) I can customize them to whatever you'd like as well.

Wtf is wrong with my air compressor regulator I can’t get the output pressure down to 65 PSI so I can run my plasma cutter.

Pressure won’t go down that low and it hisses out air like crazy.

This sucks. Finally found the time to test out the plasma and this crap happens.

    I don’t know. Bad reg?

I highly doubt it’ll hurt to run it at a higher pressure. How low will it go?

I think it’s the regulator. At least that’s where all the air is leaking out.

I can only go down to 90 psi before it starts hissing out all the air.

I’m gonna take the Reg apart tonight to see what’s going on. It’s mostly plastic dammit.

Cheap ass Porter Cable compressor. I knew I shoulda got a Dewalt 20 years ago.

Replace the regulator. It should definitely be able to go lower than 90psi.
You can always just grab a new quality regulator and put quick connects on it and put it right at the plasma cutter. Much simpler to do.

    @Subway4X4

I’m trying to remember. Didn’t that plasma come with a regulator?

I think remember not using it because my compressor already had one.

My plasma has a built in regulator.
I actually have to alter the pressure depending on how many amps I am running at

Took apart the Porter Cable regulator. Apparently 20 years on the same pressure kept the innards “frozen” in time. Took out the rubber seals, lubed them with silicone and voila’... good as new. Pressure goes down to 65 psi and holds nicely.

    This was my next option.

I’m an idiot: I pulled my Plasma out and voila’ a nice new rear mounted regulator with an oil/water separator.
    219645BA-561C-4896-A4A0-8A589367F281.jpg

Anywhoo... all air pressure regulators accounted for and in good working order.

    Thanks guys!
