30k plus interest is a big hole at 18. If it was tuition for collage or trade school I’d say good move. When I was 18 to get a loan that big would have been impossible but these days it’s a lot easier to bury yourself.

Just pay it, I put 6k down for mine new back in 08, and I pay 469.48 a month... Should also look into getting it refinanced.

btw must be nice to be able to pay $560 a month and still be able to afford a pro comp lift and all that! haha. Took me a year to be able to buy my lift and wheels..

stop complaining about the price in canada the DC sr5 sprot is 42000 with taxes and freight. I am weighting for the 2011 to come out this fall and I need to put down 22k to get the paments down under 400 a month. If it wasn't such a pain in the ass i would be importing a truck from the states to save ten grand.

im not complaining about that just the fact of how much of an ass the dealer was to not give me any kind of deal the reason he said he couldnt come was that they closed the plant in california to move it to texas and that they werent making anymore but i mean he had like 50 in his lot he couldve parted a couple grand to make a sale

That amounts to 3.78%. That's a pretty good rate for an 18yo. Enjoy your truck!
You'll get used to the payments.

if the payments are painful, it sounds like you shouldn't have bought it.
