You had me curious, so.... I entered the stuff into myfitnesspal and on no carb days it's about 60g fats. Might be a bit higher on carb days - but not much. This is a competition diet to shred me to 3% BF. It's gonna be minimal. This diet is only for a few weeks and then it'll get worse I am sure for the last 2 weeks, and then again it will change the last week.

Drastically low fat diets are OK short term. Long term they impact hormone production as well as impact your body’s ability to absorb critical nutrients.

I didn’t know if you had been doing this for the last few months or just recently.

My fats were definitely higher the last 8 weeks as I had 2x a day red meat. Now I get no red meat :( sad day. But, yea so far so good and it's not forever for sure. Glad you said something though it made me curious

    are you competing?

I thought I was on low carb mode at 270 for this cut

I’m at 270c 100f 280p for a very slow cut. I’ve been losing about .2lbs and .1% BF daily though. Happy with the BF drop, but would like to slow the weight down. I want to lose less than a lb per week to minimize strength loss, although I’m planning on competing at a lower class next year when I get back on the platform...

I am on very low carb, it's is very challenging. Everyone in the office of course brings in CARB LOADED BULL SHIT like everyday and I'm like GTFO of here with that crap. It's whatever lol. Right now my carbs are EOD: 6oz sweet potato, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1.5 english muffin, 1/2 cup brown rice, 1 rice cake. The other days I get zero carb.

I'd like to compete someday maybe... but, right now I am planning a vacation and want to look good. I am also using this cut to see how I respond to the food and the diet change as well as how my mind handles it. I hate to sign up for a competition and look like ass. I am also using this opportunity to see what muscle group is lacking and how much I need to change cardio for my condition for when I'd compete (if I do).

    Good lol I was concerned.

I may last about 2 weeks at 30g of fat per day and then I’d probably die haha.

Let us know how you feel at 3%.
Some people tell me they feel great, other people say they are miserable.

Cooking with protein powder just makes everything dry. I used to add it to muffin mix and it was edible but only with a glass of milk...

There are companies that make baking mixes with higher protein specific to the fitness market and I’ve also seen Kodiak cakes as a brand a lot of lifters use for baked goods...

I’m pretty much done with using proton products/shakes. I can get all I need just in diet alone.

I agree, and supplements should be supplementary not a major crutch.

I feel like trying to lean on protien fortified carbs just leads you to eat more refined carbs, added sugar, and nutrient devoid processed foods than you should rather than eating whole high protien foods that are rich in micronutrients.

    Yeah.
I've seen some of the pancake mixes. Might try it, but figured it'd be like play dough.. Is Kodiak cakes like tastey cakes or little debbies, except get you ripped?

What kinda muffin we talkin? I'm not trying to eat any muffin with any added protein.

Kodiak Cakes is a mix, like bisquick but I think with extra protein?

I was using those little Betty Crocker muffin mix packages and adding extra milk with the protein scoops. Would not reccommend 1/10

A lot of it is hype. “If you take this, you’ll net big gains” , is bs for the most part. A 25 yo male who eats right, and adheres to a strict diet for bulking/cutting will have the same results as taking proton shakes, etc. Convience is the only benefit. CLA and fish oil are the only exemptions. For all the money people spend on it, they could have just seen a sports nutritionist and stuck the rest in the bank, lol.

I want to eat treats, that will make me ripped 24/7. Screw all this counting this and that.
And I don't even crave treats that much, I just wanna eat it anyway.
