It’s on the manufacturing end, not a user end

    3 x 15
    110 MOA

    5 x 25
    90 MOA

    8 x 40
    70 MOA

And I believe this is universal amongst all of the manufacturers.

And obviously I’m speaking of turrent conditions, not glass subtension markings

That is individual scopes. I have a NF 2.5x10 that has approx. 60 MOA and my 5x25 has 100 MOA of vertical adjustment. I think the point he was trying to make was a single scopes travel range will not change based on the magnification you dial on that single scope.

I ran a 4-16 Vortex PST gen1 for a number of years, currently run a USO 3.2-17 on my bolt rifle, I also ran a 10x scope for a while as well

Make certain you have a good spotter to call corrections this way you can concentrate on shooting.

Yes. A an individual scope/model will x amount of adjustments in the turret based on how the manufacture designed that specific scope. But how your post was originally written it sounded like the amount of available adjustment changed based on your magnification level.

Correct this was the point I was making.

Also correct that the amount of adjustments (clicks) in a turret is based on the design of a scope. A 30mm scope body will "usually" have less adjustment then a scope that has a 34mm scope body and so on because the larger tube has physically more room so you have more space to work with. Also based on the manufactures intended use for a scope a higher mag scope may have more adjustment then a lower mag scope or vice versa.

I think we are all on the same page now.

Nice upgrade. I have run 2-3 Nighforce scopes, 2 different USO scopes, and currently running a Kahles.

Haa, I used to have that scope too. If you wanted to go to a standard scope. Rocksolid make amount for the mosin.

Does this count? 6.5 CM, not even a round through it.

I saw that, cool monopod but I shoot with my support hand under the stock, or without rear support.

    Thanks
I cheaped out on the bipod, just about the only part I cheaped out on.

    I'm working on it......

Took it by the pawn shop for shits and giggles, after looking it over for 20 minutes the guy refused to make an offer because he didn't want to insult me, I told him I was only looking to get $1500, rifle was 1800 parts, scope was 600.
