Been married for almost 2 years now. Been with her since 2002.

Here is my rant.

She is CONSTANTLY going through my fucking phone, asking me who it is that i called, if its a number she doesnt know. Shes always looking through my text messages expecting to find something.

I have several girls add me on facebook, whether i know them or not. And she flips the hell out over it.

Its fucking annoying as shit.

If im on the computer, she tries to sneak up on me and see what im doing, and will stand there for a couple of minutes until i smart off at her, at which point she'll storm off.

I dont know what to do.

FUCK.

Tell her about it- I mean telling us might get you a few ideas- but it'll get you some smartasses who want to tell you they are single or whatever too.

If she doesn't know that it's pissing you off-then there is no one to blame but yourself that it keeps happening.

That's not necessarily it though. She may just have unrelated self-esteem and/or trust issues that need to be dealt with.

Whatever the case, try to find the true underlying problem and work it out. Otherwise, it's poison to a healthy relationship.

Was she like this before the marriage? If not then tell her u don't hafta deal with this crap and go stay with a buddy til she fixes it. My wife and I fought like cats and dogs for the first 6 months til I handed her keys one nite when she threatened to leave and she was like WTF u r just gonna let me go and I told her yes if this is how it's gonna be then get out. She came back 5 mins later and it got better real quick. "he who cares the least" wins almost everytime. But u gotta be willing to let her go.

Good advice. I've lived through this. My ex was jealous when I pet the damn cat. It was HER lack of self-esteem that had her convinced I was cheating on her (once with a 20-something I raised over the Internet, who'm I'd never met and lived 800 miles away). I wasn't cheating. With anybody. But I was damn near ready to.

 

Not really before the marriage...much worse after.

Sounds like she's got tits. Tits, that's the problem. Yeah, they're all fun and games to start with, but then the fun wears off and you're living with their support system. Welcome to the real world and good luck. Don't spend too much of your time trying to figure it out. They can be mostly nuts.

 

There are many things that could eat away at a relationship. Some things are repairable and others will only get worse as time moves along. Sit down and discuss it. Talk to her and find out why things are the way they are. It's always been said that there is some truth behind a joke. I do believe that most of the time. I feel for you because every marriage has its moments. Even the simplest of things can destroy a relationship. Talk to her when you are vulnerable so she understands that you care and are trying to work a potential problem out before it gets out of control. We all have our issues, but it's how you handle it that would distinguish you from a typical man re-action.
