lol I like to eat well. I've got eggs and some bacon for breakfast sunday haha!

 

Seriously it usually some brats with sum tater salad or something for lunch. Oh and plenty of jerky

 

I think I'm going to grill some chicken and we are just going to shred it and do some chicken sandwiches.

@JMY24 @TRD Tyler sounds like we should take I65 to meet up with @JBTacoma at exit 304 in Cullman, that's the Good Hope exit I believe?

What camp stove do you have?

works well, but we will basically have all the food made up beforehand and just have to heat it up. I'll have to scramble the eggs and do bacon but that's it.

ohh and if you guys want a nice "real" campground with tables and plenty of room and vaulted toilets why not try Turnipseed hunters Camp? it is just between Cheaha State Park and the start of 600-2. The only downfall there is it is first come first serve and is popular with boy scout groups because it is right on the Chinabee silent trail which connects with the Pinhote trail. I have used it plenty of times for a stay before I hike. Also, another good place is High Falls trailhead which is basically a big turn around with plenty of room and some good falls/swimming hole, Also some good tent area right off the trail and the parking area.
