Below is a list of companies that stock, or fabricate Taco parts in Canada- for TW members to reference for their for all (hopefully) their Taco needs.
This is not for endorsement purposes. I have no affiliation with any of these companies.

If you can't drive south of the border to pick up the parts and bypass the shipping costs, hopefully this helps get you a source to purchase from that significantly reduces the sting of shipping costs to get parts up here.

So far a good list started for the Western provinces....nothing for the boys out East listed yet....

Why not buy local? Which city are you near? Cochrane Toyota, the Gear Shop, and my personal favourite Krave automotive are all able to order in almost anything for a Toyota you could want if you’re near Calgary. Plus then you don’t have to worry about things getting fucked up in the mail. There is also a 4wheelparts location in Red Deer, Edmonton and Calgary though they are kind of like the Walmart of the off-road stores lol. Lots of selection but little knowledge.

Lol because spending money is always easier when its delievered.
Knew about Cochrane Toyota already. They were actually reccommened by another very prominent US Vendor already on this site.

Also 4 wheel parts ads I have noticed in past.

Havent heard of Krave. Or Gear shop. :pccoffee:

I might edit the thread and start a list.

Living in Lethbridge affords me the luxury of shipping everything to the Montana border and then I just pick it up.

I live near Lethbridge too. Anything I must deal with the manufacturer directly I ship to the border. However I've found better deals at Krave than I have over the border since they can order some items in bulk or with other shipments.

It also sucks if the border storage or shipper beats the crap out of your stuff since you have to juggle the return at the storage place. You don't have that problem when you deal with a brick and mortar store.

The manager of Krave used to be the parts manager at Cochrane Toyota. So you may know him already lol. Also the mechanic at Krave used to be the person at Cochrane that did all of their supercharger installs lol. He knows his Tacoma's, 4Runner's, Landcruiser's, and Tundra's cold.

Seems to be a popular option.
I've done that as well, shipped to Sweet Grass, drove south from Calgary. The wharehouse there was so busy, and the parking lot was full and the staff was run off their ass. Seemed slightly disorganized but I haven't been back in a few years.

Epic adventures outfitters in Surrey BC is distributing prinsu, cbi , C4 fabrication.

4 wheel parts covers pretty much everyone else.

Overland outfitters - as well can provide a few lines of parts accessories.

Make sure you use At The Border Storage, not the other one, ATBS is a first class outfit.

I’ve used both. I find you can catch either on a bad day being difficult.

I'm down in Eureka MT for about a month - if you have something you want I have a shipping address and can pick it up ( shoot me a PM). No storage fees and I'll bring it back when I drive back to Calgary for stampede. If your not in Calgary you can meet me along the way, or pickup in Calgary.

Generally I do this for smaller items ( ie no bumpers, sliders, etc) but have taken a fridge back. Additionally, depending on price, if there is an extra charge at the boarder I ask you to cover your percentage of it.

Also in BC there are a few more shops: Baja North, BCC, North Shore Offroad, Peden, Wrekless auto

Careful bringing packages across the border that are addressed to someone else. CBSA may give you a hard time as you aren't technically supposed to do that. My wife and I run a business in Lethbridge and import all our own stock at the Coutts PEO. We cross the border once a week and have become very intimate on the details of importing stuff. It often depends on the CBSA agent how smooth the process goes.

Good tip and thanks for the info - when I've done it before I try to get my name included on the shipping info to avoid this problem; haven't had any problems yet ( knock on wood).

I've driven to Sweetgrass 2x for parts and seems like the duties and provincial taxes you pay at the border are less than what happens when you get the items shipped? Makes no sense to me...although I wasnt complaining lol. One truck load I had about 700 bucks worth of parts and paid like 25 bucks in duties lol.

Yup, it’s like that, all depends on which CBSA Officer you get. No consistency at all
