The trick to going shooting right now is 95% of my stuff can't be shot at an indoor range.... And outside is a no-no right now. Might have to save that one for the fall..

Pretty sure SGC's backstop can stop plenty of calibers short of like .338 lapua.

Unless you're gonna pen the backstop it's just a matter of earpro.

I've shot a 16" FAL indoors.

I get the feeling it's one of those "never meet your heroes" kinda things though... Kinda like how I fell out of love with the idea of a WRX after owning one of my own for a few years.

To be honest, I feel like ultimately it would be more fun to buy a Del Sol and a gen 1 Rav4 or a T4R, turn both into project cars, and end up having way more fun building out two cars for the same price as the entry ticket for an NSX.

 

Ill look into it. I have only shot indoors a time or two.... All the lanes were real short. Most of my stuff has atleast 6x scopes on it and trying to shoot that at 25 yards would be eh because its just not ideal... Plus I just dont think she will enjoy 7mm stw or creedmor much... Lol ive been thinking about picking up a glock 43 so maybe I can supplement with a rental or two depending who does what... She has shot some handguns and 12/20 gauges before it sounds like. Maybe she will like the compact .380 and a .22 rifle. Doubt she would enjoy my 45.

SGC does rentals and they have a decent selection. I think it is probably $10-15 to rent a gun but might be an idea.

The main goal at costco is to use it to buy stuff you need or use regularly. When it comes to food, go with what you know. Experimenting with something you've never had can result in a lot of food you dont eat.

Otherwise they have good clothes and sporadic deals on expensive items. Their $300 kayak has been torturing me.

Edit: Also, be mindful of how much space you have to store stuff at home. It's very easy to run out of room.

Best deals are free samples on the weekends, the $2 hot dog and soda. After that it depends what you need or use, and there sales don’t rotate as often but there deeper normally. You really could go every weekend and find new inventory of crap you didn’t think you needed but must have now.
