You've been given a thread with pictures of fastener locations, told to just unplug the TSS. The grill is the same as other years minus the TSS. There are a zillion youtube videos that show how to do this. Yet you still say "I TRULY don't know how to proceed". So....since it seems you are THAT uncomfortable with doing anything, I told you to take it to a shop.

I don't have the TSS, but the hard and fast rule for my grille swap was "unscrew all the screws". There are a lot more than you think, but fortunately, Toyota actually made grille swaps extremely easy for this vehicle.

Please consult the first link I posted. It very clearly shows the steps required to completely disassemble the TSS grille. You can do it!

You've got a 17. Last night I looked for a 2018 video, couldn't find one. Please link to one of the zillions.

I DON'T have the TSS grill, mine is the one with the circle emblem in the middle of it. I don't have a TRD pro. I have a LIMITED edition. Big difference. But thank you

All of the 18s have TSS across all models of Tacoma.

As I said, it's exactly the same EXCEPT for the TSS, which in this thread people have said to just unplug it, and provided a link to a thread with pictures of the exact type of grill. What is so confusing?

TSS is the name of the sensor. So you do technically have a TSS grill. :)

Seriously, the tabs and screws are all the same as the 2017 limited. The only real difference is that there is a sensor that you need to unplug. It's pretty easy. Just unplug it. The real question is: What are you swapping it with? Aftermarket or OEM? Whatever it is, you need to make sure it compatible with TSS.

Actually there is pretty much zero difference between the grill on TRD Pro/Limited/OR/Sport/SR5, etc. Mostly the looks. The way they attach is almost exactly the same.

Good luck. Are you swapping it with another grill that has TSS? If not, you'll run into some problems.
