    hnhajah,
Something is not right here. Only 7500 miles on the oil? That should not cause an engine failure.
I sure wouldn't continue to drive it around.

Something smells fishy with this story.

Not to be insulting but do you know anything about engines? Do you have a trusted friend that knows anything about engines?
Is there someone on this forum with engine experience that is close by Charleston,SC that can take a look at his truck?

Fidelity our warranty for an engine company refused our warranty for a new engine, bc they said we changed the oil filter at an auto garage and that the auto garage screwed the oil cap in wrong 16 months prior to the failure. Then they also used us not getting an oil change every 3000 miles bc under the term of the contract, it says we r required to go in for an oil change every so often and only with that toyota dealership.

I know how you feel man. Just keep your head up and you'll get it figured out. Do you have the appropriate place and tools to do a rebuild?

I also recommend Jasper Engines, as I have a 1998 GMC Jimmy with the 4.3 V6 in it. Put the engine in 50k miles ago, only problem is I think the install shop did a lazy job running the wiring, and I think they did something to the trans, as its been leaking trans fluid ever since.

Why would you need a new engine if that one only has 47k on it? these engines are built to last much longer than that. Does it have some sort of problem already?

Read his first post silly goose

Its a website with really good deals on OEM parts. They have engines with 3 year warranties for like 4,200 i do believe. I was gonna get one but decided to do the rebuild on my own. However i got the full rebuild kit from them. Check it out could save you alot of money.
