Looking at 351K in about 30 miles! No oil loss, still has power and runs like new!

Yeah, the orange was bothersome to me on long drives. Blue is way better.

I can vouch that this seems true in my small sample size. My son has a '96 with 320k and I have a '03 with 220k. I recently bought mine and have several issues needing attention while he is totally fine -- for now! His ticket will likely get punched as his is a daily and mine is a weekend toy.

congrats! There's many folks on here with 300k, 400k, 500k, some dude with a 5 lug with over a million... expect to get another 100-200k more minimum!

I did the math, I'll be at/near dead by the time I hit a million at the rate I'm going..

    Congrats on 300k

Guy in my neighborhood growing up had a 95.5 with 657k. The only reason he got rid of it was the frame finally rusted out. Hit a bump and it literally snapped in half. The local Toyota dealership fabricated it and had it as a display vehicle for years.

^ There you are! 5% bigger tires (don't know what size you have) does put you closer to 600,000

I did not mean to step on anyone's toes for bragging rights here. I am new on here. One person was def right, I thought I had a lot of miles until I joined this sight. I actually feel better knowing others are getting quite a bit more miles out of their vehicles. Quite reassuring actually. Thank you for the nice posts!!! With that being said, I am going to start a new thread with a pic and question for suspension. Please be easy on me as I am new on here.

(5 year old post... to the very day) :hattip:

Are there any issues in particular seen pop up frequently during this mileage range
Particularly for the 5vz and 5sp MT
My rig recently rolled thru 300k (with the original clutch still that is acting up when it gets toasty out)
And I would like to keep on top of whatever items need watched as a preventative + budget for

My 2000 PreRunner 3rz, Dave the Giant Killer, is knocking on the door of 400,000. He got the name after scrambling up a legendary Arizona trail, Back Road to Crown King. Original engine and AT. After 300K had to replace many emissions components: IAT, cat, 02 sensors, MAF, TPS, exhaust manifold...to pass emissions to register. He's a keeper. Enjoy, all y'all

Found this on a search out there somewhere

"Who is buying these tacos with 300k miles?
I see them all over florida for sale....tacos from the 90's going for up to 7k that have like 250k and 300 miles. These are not the 4wd double cabs either. I'm talking 2wd, stick shift xtracabs. Like who buys these cars knowing that they are in engine overhaul territory? I've been looking to buy under 200k miles and hardly see any."
