That's some old school rides. Just noticed the ACS Rotor (really old) on the Redline.

I used to shred, used to be sponsored, used to travel all over the country just to shred. Fast forward 5 years, I’ve gained 20lbs and have a truck payment supplemented by a 50hour work week. Getting old sucks lol

This photo is from the last bicycle film festival that bmx was allowed at (we are rowdy). San Francisco’s mission district, circa 2011

Find yourself a nice dirt jumper with 26 inch wheels. You won’t regret it. Shit I will always have 3 bikes in my garage.

    BMX race bike
    Dirt Jumper
XC Mtn Bike - hard rail cause I’m old school. :headbang:

No place around me for a dirt jumper, right now on a Stolen Saint 24 and hard tail MTB. Looking for a 20" to build for flatland.

Am more of a motocross guy myself. I ride a KX 250f and my son is on a PW50. But... he's recently gained interest in BMX racing. I don't know ANYTHING about it, but he's having a blast, and I think it's something I could get into!

BMX Racing will sure make your kid good on anything with two wheels. Stay away from clips for awhile. Let him learn on platforms. I was a factory racer and it led me into being a pro mtn biker. BMX racing gave me the best two wheel foundation ever. :bikewhoops:

I would argue brakeless skatepark and trail riding helped me even more. But that racing steeze is always noticable!

Shit i would say riding brakeless has made me a better driver, learning to control momentum naturally without using brakes

Edit: as in looking ahead, cant pump/depump in traffic lol

Of course DH shit would be certain death brakeless lol

Looks like that thing has never seen a dirt road let alone single track. A Johnny Tomac autograph would make that bike with some cash.

Owner bought it brand new just road it around as a cruiser. Guy was in his 60s super nice and pretty sad to let it go but told him its in good hands for the more part try to keep it period correct on parts. I wana find a seat, drop bars, tioga disk rear wheel would be killer

Very nice ride. Glad you rescued it. Someone back in the day made a drop bar that clamped on like your current bar end does. I think it may have been an Italian company.

Just saw them by Origin 8.

I vote for keeping it close to original, but then I'm a little skewed, cause I have a few vintage mountain bikes, and that one us a real classic. Especially if you can source a Tioga disc wheel. Those are pretty rare & expensive I imsgine.

Found this after I saw your earlier post. Good luck, whichever way you decide.
