Tacoma- 16" method nv, but some plans are forming thanks to TW. Bronco- 11" lift, 38x15.50, want to diesel motor/driveline
Yeah I've been looking into the low range off road leveling kit, which is a 3 in the front and 1 in the rear that just gives it a 3" which is really all I'll need. From the thread I've read on here everyone says it rides like factory since it doesn't max out the shock.

I just installed the 3/2 Readylift kit on my 2016 Tacoma and the ride quality has not changed one bit. The truck did not blow up. Hasn't burst into a big giant ball of flames.

It looks great on my two mile ride to work through town. Looks amazing on my two mile ride back home through town. Looks even better at the mall.

It will never see so much as a dirt road.

    Love it.

If it works for you do it. If you want to grow a big ball sack and go stomping around in the forest or "Overlanding", this kit is probably not for you.

The guys with the KINGS and ICONS and Fox shocks are cool. They are paying for and doing what they want with their truck. They probably ride a bit smoother and handle the bumps and grinds of the road better. It just wasn't for me.

    Do what makes you happy.

Yeah I'm not hating on those that can afford 3k in suspension but I know at some point you have to understand the line in how much your willing to spend on a trucks suspension in an everyday use and how willing you are to deal with a less than factory ride (as well as how less of factory your willing to settle with). In the amount of research compared with the real life experience of offloading I do; I know what I need, don't need and what I'm willing to settle with in a daily driver (that I spend a max of an hr a day in on the long days driving). Again not looking to start anything, just looking for genuine input on all things tacoma related; considering the amount of threads I've read on all lift kits and companies etc. This is the first yota I've owned so im learning the ins and outs of this truck everyday.

That’s mine with the pro comp 3/1 kit. Yes the ride did suffer to be honest. Kit installed and alignment was $488. Just do want you can.

Somewhat old thread, I know, but I just put the TC kit on my taco along with 33" tires. The ride is stiffer for sure, but not unbearable. The problem I'm having (I've had it on the truck for a week) is that I get strong vibration between 10-25 mph. Happened after the install. Not sure if it's the lift or tires or some remnant from the install.

Search ECGS bushing on here. Many have mentioned the same thing and have had to replace the needle bearing with a bushing made by ECGS. Think you can verify if this is your problem by seeing if the vibration goes away by shifting to 4hi

Lol these are far from bulletproof.

Most people that dislike these lifts have bad experiences with them and there are more reports of breakage on these than all other lifts.

Ive done 14k miles in it and besides the stiffer ride suits my needs. I got Toyo open country MT 285/75/16 and it has hold up good. Yes I would love some good coil over but where good for now.

Only pro I see is the price, but you'll be out that $200 when you redo it in the future. I'd check out running a 3" suspension lift w/add-a-leaf if you aren't going to be hauling anything.

Not going to be a popular option here.

Might look at what some of our vendors like headstrong offroad or toytec recommends.

Both on a bumper pull trailer? If so, definitely do AAL. You should be able to pick up some coilovers and an AAL/shock combo in the classifieds for a little cheaper than new. If you want to buy new, chat with Headstrong like Woodrow said; she's very knowledgeable and can get you setup with your exact needs.

    What's your total wheel/tire/lift budget?

    ×3 for @HeadStrong Off-Road
Stay away from the tuff and rough country BS.
You may want to look into air bags for the rear since you tow.
