    Reminds me of when I smashed my finger with the radio set in a blown up truck in Afghanistan. Ended up using the saw on my multitool to cut through the nail to relieve the pressure. It was a squirter.

    I had this happen to me when some doche passing people on the shoulder during bumper to bumper hit my truck after he flew off his bike. To add insult to injury the cop gave him a ticket and he had to pony up and fix my truck and two other vehicles!

    Douche on the bike left in an Waaambulance!

    Ya I didn’t use a drill or anything, I had a razor blade on me so I just spun it on it till I got through. When I smash another nail maybe I’ll try heating something up and sinking it through.

    Good luck to her, nursing is one of the hardest yet most gratifying careers with very good job security and health benefits. My wife graduated LPN school last september. Her having to help with my foot made her probably change her mind of career path too. She was working in the kitchen at the hospital when my foot fell apart, from diabetes/infected plantar wart, before we started dating (we had met each other 8 years prior but fell out of touch even though she lived a block down from me). After my foot and before we got engaged she got a job as a nurse's assistant on a rehab unit at the hospital (which shut down her unit last June). Now she works at a nursing home and we'll have been married 5 years in October.

    I should have took pics of the spider bite my mom got last summer on her back. I packed that thing for six months before it fully closed.

    That didn’t work for me.
    The drill bit did though.

    Btw, my foot is back to its old tricks again. I keep dreading/putting off the day I have to have more surgery or have to have it amputated (I hate driving automatics).
    :pray::pout:

    But something like this could keep me going if I do.

    Cutting my bedside to put a high clearance rear bumper, the grinder caught, jumped, and the cut off wheel skipped off the back of my hand. Thus was yesterday. Finishing up the bumper today! I'm making my own with the help of @Skell

    Well, it finally had to be done. One little piggy didn't make it home yesterday.

    Infection got to the bone (wedge shaped area where white/bone should be at first joint on 2nd toe)

    What sucks the worst is I can't drive my truck (manual transmission) for about a month I figure.:pout:

    Update:

    Had the big reveal today
    (post-op doctor appointment)

    Got the results back from pathology, 1st segment had osteomilitis and the 2nd segment didn't.

    So I shouldn't need anymore surgery, as long as nothing else gets infected.
