Where are you going to put those tools though? Haha.

Home Depot messed up tagging it on the floor (for an advertised $100 cheaper than MSRP) so they honored the $100 off plus and additional $35 for being a floor model.

It’s a great box. I still have my Snap-On student account and was about to buy a small $1,200 box with only 6 drawers, but then I saw how much more room I’d have for half the price and decided against it.

Ayyy we’re nearly neighbors. I live right off Dyer St. Closest TW member I’ve seen.

It’s also freakin’ massive. I don’t even have enough tools to fill it up. My air compressor is 5 feet tall for comparison.

I’m always parked in Union Landing. Not hard to spot me, I have 3rd Gen Wheels and a TW decal on my bumper.

The front really isn't that bad to do as others say, just a lot of disassembling of other parts just to get to it.

Nice! Yeah I’m working on getting my tool collection up and organizing but hard when I have three small tool boxes scattered in the garage. Really want to consolidate to one large and start fresh. Hmmm, might have to check out my local Home Depot for some floor models.

It's crazy how expensive those bigger boxes get. Those fancy Snap-On ones that are 12 feet long and 6 feet high can go up to $30,000.

In my case they sold me the floor model because they couldn't locate any new boxed ones for some reason. You just have to get lucky.

Yeah supposed to be in on Monday. We'll see how it goes, I'm pretty good at fucking things up, so I'm sure you'll see a rant on here about how it's a POS (But it's really my fault). :D

Just remember your cool downs when going home. I put on 6 mi/20 min real lite pedal and rear got extremely hot on first drive. Normal.

shit, that was good advice you just saved me a bunch of money and a headache. I probably would have drove that shit straight home ~100 + miles...

    From ECGS :
    NEW GEAR BREAK-IN PROCEDURE
New gear sets MUST be broken in correctly to prevent damage. Not following proper break-in procedures will lead to overloading and overheating the ring and pinion as well as breaking down and ruining the gear oil. Not following proper break-in procedures can be determined during inspection and will void the warranty.

Please follow the below guidelines to ensure a proper break-in and long life of your gears.
    • Only use high quality gear oils. ECGS recommends Lucas non-synthetic 85W-140
    • On initial run, drive lightly for 15 to 20 minutes then stop to allow differential to cool completely for 20 to 25 minutes.
    • Avoid towing and heavy acceleration, as well as vary speeds every 5 to 10 minutes while driving on highways.
    • Drive conservatively and do not drive more than 50 miles at a time without allowing a cool cycle during the first 500 miles following installation.
    • After completing initial break-in, change gear oil at 500 miles. Small metal particles are normal and gear oil will typically be black. Excessive metal in gear oil should be reviewed by a competent differential mechanic to ensure safety of internal parts.

    Thanks Leonard!

After the 1st initial drive I added the front engaged. Did another short drive on that one.
