Truck came by and we did learn some things. We're altering the code and will try in on this truck I hope by the end of the weekend.

Got both transmission temps (primary and secondary) to display on a local 2010 4.0L Tacoma. I'm going to send one of these out to a 2009 2.7L Tacoma and I'll report back with results. I'm not going to jump to conclusions and say that the 2009/10's are all good now for reading the automatic trans temps but fingers are crossed.

I still need a local 2005/6 Tacoma to stop by our shop if there are any volunteers.

You know my 2007 4.0L wont show my automatic trans temps. I just get the CL. Am I doing something wrong during setup?

Since both of you have 2007/8 models, I need to make sure something didn't inadvertently get changed in the code while we've been adding more code to support more years. We tried countless 2007/8's and never had a problem. We'll have to reflash both of yours but I need to verify the code first.

    Hey
Does this mean that 2010 V6 owners can now purchase there gauges?

Is it possible we can get more frequent updates on the progress being made on this? I know you guys are working on it and I think it would help those of us waiting if we got more communication from you guys on how that work is progressing. When I got my gauge I was told my truck would be fully supported, I don't mind that for some reason it's not and that you guys have been working on a solution but I do hate to have to ask every week for an update on your progress. I'd love if Aeroforce could just keep us informed on a weekly basis of your progress. It makes your hard work pay off more in that your customers are kept in the know that you are still trying to make it happen.

Should take this to heart as I for one got tired of waiting and bought a Scanguage a couple weeks back. Was tired of waiting and way too long between updates. While I understand it's a work in progress, can't start a buy/thread like this and then disappear for weeks on end.

His last update was about 10 days ago. I'm the one he said he was going to be sending a gauge out for testing. Keep in mind I had to send it to him, he updated it and sent it back, so thats why there hasn't been an update in the last 10 days (shipping it back and forth). If more tacomas were near his area I'm sure everything would have been done faster. I should be getting the gauge this week probably either today or tomorrow. For those interested I had already posted a list of every parameter that works on the 09s in the Aeroforcetech section. I'm thankful for Todd's work on the gauges.

Believe me, my post wasn't meant to be taken as ill will or anything. You kind of show my point though. I know they are working on this, but without a post we don't know anything about what's going on. 30 seconds spent saying "We updated and shipped back, this was tested, we are waiting on the gauge coming back, etc..." will show the community just how much time they are sinking into this, which in turn will gain that much more respect from everyone. By not saying anything it leaves their hard work un-rewarded/un-recognized in some ways.

I understand, but I think we ALL have to understand that this isn't the only thing they are working on and probably not the only Forum they are part of. Replying all PMs, posts and emails is definitely a good amount of work. I think he has done an excellent job and what I'm most glad of is that he kept his word. He has promised to keep working to get the trans. temperature to work and he has. He tried to get Tacomas near his area to the shop, visited dealerships and tried numerous times to get info from Toyota and still keeps working on it.

As an update, I talked with the mailman and he didn't have any package for me, so hopefully the gauge will be here tomorrow.
