In all seriousness though, I considered it for a long time but it is extremely costly for all of the little brackets. The extrusion ia cheap though. Additionally, getting the drawer slides mounted was my big hold up

    Mmmmm nope

I wouldn't pay for shipping since they are right up the street from me...but I wouldn't pay that much regardless.

Finished the carpeting of my platform shown in a previous post. Carpet glue holding the bulk of it with staples around the edges since it is 4 pieces and expecting to have activity on it.

The biggest cost of the t-slotted framing is the fancy 3 way corner joints, but it can be done cheaper with the less fancy type of joints. It just doesn't look as clean/nice. I'm building a drawer with the press fit tubing, sort of experimenting with the design see how well it works out.

I used 36" drawer slides for mine and made a separate compartment in the back against the cab. Was ~$200 cheaper than getting the full length slides. It depends what you're trying to do for your setup in general. I'm eventually going to put a breaker panel back there so I can easily run some additional outlets, and also have room for an on board air setup or a small water tank. I have some pictures in my (not much of a) build thread linked in my sig.

I did the same thing with the roof track bolts. Found these d-rings that seem to fit pretty well:

Unistrut can do almost anything extrusions can do for a lot cheaper, though it can get heavy.

The decked and rci rack work fairly well together. I would go with a higher tent rack if I could get my truck in the garage with it.

I’m hoping to get a camper shell one day and I think that’s where the decked system would really shine.

I am debating on getting a ARE shell, which doesn't have the option to add cargo hooks, and I have been wondering if this would work! Glad too see it on here. Gotta love TW.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
After browsing though this thread, I can see that members have made use of what they have, design to fit their needs but I have to say that I am completely ecstatic to have the DECKED system in my truck. For the time it has saved me with R&D, building, trial and error I could not go wrong. It is a very well thought out design with many accessories to fit anyone's needs. Check them out if you haven't already. I promise you won't be disappointed

Just zoom in on the label in the picture and then say “Alexa, enhance...enhance...enhance” then magically like the movies it will make data out of nothing and you’ll be able to see an ant on a log somewhere.
