We take the wife’s Venza to Westboro and now my ‘18 that I got there will go in for the 3 years of free maintenance. I love that it’s on my way home from work and opens at like 0630 or 7. their service is dept open on Sundays too.

Wow... that's some BS right there... I get $20 oil change coupons from the Ferd dealer, same disclaimer, 5 quart max. The F150 took 8 quarts but they usually just charge me the $20 and send me on my way. The one time I had to pay extra, it was $3/quart for the extra 3 quarts.

There's a really cool Restaurant/Bar where I live that makes all the "classic" cocktails the way they should be. Fucking fantastic but also pricey. Food is excellent as well, tapas style menu. Bartenders are young too!

My dealer told me they'd do my first two oil changes for free, but I think I'm going to just do it. I've never had someone change my oil for me. Plus, it's a 50 minute drive and I very rarely go out that way for any other reason.

I'm nearing 5k, truck percentage indicates I'd be good to about 11. Not sure if I'm going to wait or do the first time early.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Let them do the 1st one! My friend had a oil filter screwed in wrong from the factory and it was a nightmare for him. Tow, dealership blaming him etc.

I get in at 7:30am. I can eat while I work so no mandatory break. I love it. I have been working 2pm-10pm for the past like, 3/4 years but just switched to mornings.

Haha I got that the other day. Still $40 is less than it costs for synthetic from vatozone. Plus again don't have to deal with the stupid oil filter setup on the wife's t4r where you have to remove 4000 things to get to the cartridge.

FJ is so much easier with top mounted filter and fumoto valve.

    That's a good point.

I actually looked this up because it's cartridge based and doesn't have a real drain plug. It looks like a production to me because you have to pull a skid plate, have to swap a cartridge and o-ring, etc., but people seem to comment that it's actually easier than a normal oil change.

Either way, I'll only have to do it twice a year.

Getting out before 4 is nice. Way less traffic...although still more than when I would get out at 10pm. Also, I think Seth's truck has more stickers^

Silver, lots of pinstripes. Lift, MTs (for fuel efficiency), sliders. Stickers on driver rear quarter window. Sticker on rear window of recycling symbol with a dinosaur inside that says "fueled by recycled dinosaurs". Generally filled with kids toys and half eaten snacks. 20150703_184252.jpg

Lol, I get in at 7:00. It's just a long day, is all. 50+ hours a week, when I don't work a Saturday.

Iirc it was only like $3-$4 for an extra quart last time I brought mine in. So I'd imagine synth would maybe be $5-$6 per qt which is less than from vatozone still.
