He means a carrier bearing drop.. Which I don't think anyone should do. The CB drop just puts the forward section of shaft further out of angle.

 

How do you like those headlights? What is the beam pattern like? Any issues with the seals?

I did it but it lined my shaft up straight angle.. before it was at an angle down in the back but it eliminated my vibes

 

Not saying it doesn't get rid of vibes but it more misaligns the forward portion of the shaft that isn't affected by lifting. The middle u-joint and rear u-joint need realigned, the forward u-joint doesn't need to move.

I like them a lot. No issues with seals. I think I’m going on about 6 months with them (beware my truck is parked in the garage).

If I’m being totally honest, they’re not as bright as I hoped. Took a lot of aiming to get them right. They have a similar spread pattern to a BMW projector headlight. They do say that if you put LED or HID bulbs that it voids the warranty.

Easy plug and play.

I wish the LED bar was a little brighter too. Hard to see in direct sunlight.

Overall I would recommend them. Better than stock.

 

I really want them but have to justify dropping $350 on them. Especially since I just got some OEM ones.

 

Yeah.. I got them 20% when they had a sale. Just wait for the sale again. I needed some because I think the previous owner had it parked under a pine tree. Rubber looks terrible around the windows.

 

Rubber has those lighter colored blotches all over it? Yeah.. oaks are doing the same thing to mine.

I found this thread and was reading about finding where the vibrations come from by measuring the angles. There is a lot there that I don't really understand yet, but maybe if I keep reading it'll become clearer.

Honestly no.. I'm not exactly sure what to use on it. I've heard its a known issue for our trucks though.
