When do you guys leave for the kayak trip?

 

Saturday. Looks like we might get some rain. I may not stay the night. Had a customer email late last night and wants to look at a few places on Sunday so I may just end up doing a day trip. Dread having to get yak out of my disorganized garage.

 

Buy one of the camper shells you've been posting, keep the kayak on top....problem solved

 

I really been thinking about it. I could sale my current set up and pay for the shell so it would be a wash. I have a former employee who does some painting on side so think I could get a good deal on color match. Just not sold on it yet.

 

I've been happy with mine so far.

Well I used to have a cherry bomb on my 4-banger Yota so can’t be any worse than “the year of the obnoxious fart-can Yota”

 

oh it's not obnoxious, just a drone on long trips. I actually liked it a lot and consider putting it on time to time because it's fun in the city and on trails, but not on the trips to go places.

 

Also picked up a whip on eBay for $11. Bought a bracket from Lowes for $2 and utilized a Bedliner nut and got a little patriotism flying

 

Yea I gotcha man. I normally crank up the tunes or have the windows down on long trips anyways so it’ll be alright. I’ve had some front exhausts before and it can get tiring but I don’t do a lot of long drives in it anyways. I got that cherry bomb right before my wedding on he old 4-banger and my wife about murdered me on the way to orange beach for the honeymoon it drowned so bad and sounded terrible marriage was almost ended on that 6 hour drive
