Send it back and get your money back. I went through this same shit with a Honda Accord. The regulator looked close, but one bolt was not even close and when I bolted the window up it it revealed that even that was not close. I went and bought a used OEM one from a junk yard

If you give an under-geared; over-tired, auto vehicle more gas sometimes you just turn your transmission into an oversize space heater as it just sits there and stalls against its torque converter.

Sorry Mark, next time we wheel I'll apologize to Sluggo and bring you some booze. Haha I killed a Jeep Grand Cherokee doing just that, blocked the wheels up pretty good so they couldn't move too well and was hard on the peddle. Trans was on its way out anyway but it was a fun way to start a trans swap.

I need to do my cv axle. It has a busted as well.
Where did you get your cv axle? I've been searching, and there's so many out there. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

i know you can go chromoly cv’s but like monte and others mentioned it could cause other weak points depending on what youre getting into.

This is exactly how a LT second gen on 35’s snapped his cv’s on the rocks memorial day on the run we did...high centered, no traction gas gas turn snap. Chromoly axle broke clean in half then winched off. @Fernando I know you like to play in the rocks so keep that in mind. Im sure you know its usually best to tuck tail n winch, or bow your head and be sure to have a spare lol

that truck looks amazing! I would love to SAS my truck, but I like how versatile it is right now. Still that thing is fn awesome!

Went to get a quote for the wheel bearings at a new Toyota dealer near by and they were about $500 cheaper overall than the other dealer I got a quote from. They also had this beauty out front 43A1D1E6-4E45-436C-A7A3-65123316FF47.jpg23CFB124-C43E-49F1-9D8A-E10D98C6938A.jpg

With an impact and practice, its a breeze. I can do a CV and be back on the ground in about 20 minutes. I was basically one a day in Moab last year. I brought down 5 spares...it sucked because I had to literally budget CV axles, and if there were multiple obstacles on a trail I wanted to try once I blew up my one CV axle for that day I couldnt give the rest of the trail my all. But being meticulous about line choice and really feeling what the truck is doing, along with lining up multiple times can really get you through technical terrain without ruining things.
