I have a Northstar, 6 months old.
Will consider selling for $220. Trade not required but will take old one "for science" if you dont want it.

 

My brother in law is selling my old 80 series. It smokes/leaks some oil, and its the lexus version but it would be a sweet trail rig.

 

2WD Xtra cab third gen pickup or 2wd first gen xtra cab Tacoma. Either 22re or 3RZ

-Plenty of room
-Cheap, $1000 or less
-Dimesionally still a mini truck
-Easy to hang a Toyota front axle on leafs and swap out the 5-lug for your rear axle of choice
-Lots of tcase options

I've wanted an FJ since the very first time I saw one.

I have a shot at a very nice JKU at a very reasonable price.

Want an "SUV" as opposed to a pick-em-up this time.

Want to be a soccer mom I guess...

 

Is the JKU a Rubicon with the 3.6L engine?

 

Rubicon, but I don't know which motor yet. Going to see it Sunday.

Will be keeping Tacoma. JKU/FJ will be Sandy's. She wants FJ.

3.6 is a great motor. Personally I wouldn't buy one with a 3.8, but that's just me

I had 2 258 (4.0) Jeep 6's. Bullet proof. One ran with 5lbs oil pressure idling and 15 floored. Lasted several years that way. Loose as a goose!

 

I've got a northstar group 31 in the truck and love it...been looking for a smaller battery for a future dual setup. What size is it?

 

I have a 27f Northstar.
Not sure if i want to put it in the 4R or just let oem run its course. Haven't even looked to see what size 4R has. No point having a perfectly good battery just sitting in my garage either way though.

Speaking of batteries, anyone in memphis have an old one i can turn in for core return? Any old car battery will do.
Will split $ of course. I think core was $22.
Need to find my receipt now that i think about it.

When i sold the truck, swapped in the 4yr old batt from our Highlander, got new one for Highlander (northstar wouldn't fit), and now have the Northstar just sitting in my garage.
