OEM are best but if you want to spend less, NAPA are the way to go. Lifetime warranty if they break.

I agree I rather reinforce my diffs and blow cvs left and right then blow a diff. The rear is a bit different cause the parts there are pretty stout regardless. But it wouldn't hurt me to strengthen the rear cause of the extra weight and what I plan on doing. I'm not into rock climbing and such. But Forrest trails and roads like @turbodb have done lately interest me. I might make my truck over built for that stuff but I might hit some Rocky trails just never know

I had some success with Autozones as well, they last 3 years before they broke at an off-road park. So if money is tight you can get by on those but be sure to swap to OEM eventually

Pretty much. You have to return the broken one though. I haven't had to do it yet, I have a NAPA spare but still running OEMs on the truck for now.

I've blown one OEM axle...but it was a used one I bought off another member. I had it on for 2 weeks and it blew up on it's first trail, so I think it was already compromised (got hosed on that deal). Luckily I had a spare OEM one at the time that's held up since, but one or both of them has had the 'CV death click' going on for awhile now so it's just a matter of time, hence why I always carry my Napa spare with me now.

So the new battery clamp may have fixed my voltage spiking issue. The old clamp was in horrid shape and wouldn’t tighten enough so I bent a penny around the terminal and wedges the clamp over the top as a quick temp fix like 1.5 years ago... So I think the connection just got worse over time. After putting on the new terminal my voltage dropped about .5-.75 volts which is good news, hoping for no more spikes

Their new ones have the lifetime guarantee, but the reman ones only have like a one or two year.

Bingo. Napa is the way to go. This must have changed recently...i swear i bought a reman one with a core charge with a lifetime warranty, then i went in and got a new axle with a lifetime warranty and no core charge for $111, and the reman one now only has a 3yr warranty. either way, i have 2 napa shafts in and an oem for backup, and i pinned the receipts to the wall so i can take the blown napa shaft in and get a new one

It might be three years for the reman ones, I don't remember for sure, but I know it's not lifetime.
