I deleted a speed dial contact from the home screen.

Thanks to all who provided wisdom on the removal of a contact from one of the 4 quick dial buttons on the home screen. Things I learned:

People here are super helpful. And I am not being sarcastic.
Putting the phone in airplane mode with bluetooth on disconnects the phone from the truck system.
Trying to change the buttons while you drive is not permitted.
    Tapping calls them.
The 4 contacts on the home screen are not from favourites in the address book, but have to be contacts in your address book.
Holding the existing contact button down allows you to replace the contact you placed there before with someone else more important in your address book.

    Easy Peasy. :drunk:

Great job. So the long press allows you to delete them as well, and not just replace them?

That I cannot confirm. I just replaced one contact with another. Didn't experiment with trying to leave blank. Now that I know how to do that, I might test that theory if I get bored today.

I put them on myself. I think they are at the farthest forward of the recommended range (by Yakima, different brands may be different). I did use the measurements and directions for the 2nd Gen Taco, oddly enough even though the roof is the same on both 2nd and 3rd Gen, Yakima gave different instructions, the 3rd Gen instructions didn’t fit as well. I’m not sure if they are still doing this though, these have been up for a few years.
I don’t hear any noise from them.

Got my replacement yesterday which was sent in a box this time with no issues. USPS are pretty rough with their packages. Don't worry they'll send you a replacement with a quick turnaround once you email them.

Put the import equipment reverse light decals on last night. Super easy if you really wet the entire surface and decal with soap water like they say. Put a credit card in a old shirt and use that to apply and push out soap/water mix and bubbles. Maybe 25 minutes to install and I am really slow.
    Before

    After

Also managed to snap a decent picture since the new lift, tires and wheels. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Love the FN FX Pro Wheels.
