Just talked to the fine folks at ECGS and should be making my order tomorrow. If I could ship them out my existing cores, i could probably get this done quicker but I dont believe i can be without a car for minimum of 9 days....

So I looked at your switch pro mount and my ideal would require replacing the cubby with an unaltered one(I may know a guy with one sitting around for cheap :anonymous:), mounting the switch pro in the sunglass holder with a mount like this from Expedition essentials
    [IMG]

and then using a 3 switch plate in the cubby location for the OBA and Locker switches.(and again I may know a guy with one sitting around never installed:anonymous:)
May be more moving around than you want but its an option.

The guy I know with the 2 parts sitting around is me.

I don't have one yet. I will most likely be using the offgrid engineering battery trays that will put the second battery on the passenger side by the fire wall for OR's.

Im thinking i will do the big AGM31 battery and add a solar panel and charge controller instead of 2 batteries since my air compressor is in the passenger rear of the engine bay

Does that battery support you well enough with air compressor and winch?

its a battle of space. 3rd gens can put 2 yellow optimas in the existing battery location. Cons to this are the cost of 3 batteries and the weight on the taco lean side. Another option is 2nd battery on the passenger rear of the engine bay but ive got an air compressor there. Another option is a bigger battery with battery cage to hold an AGM31 battery. This is cheaper and lighter sometimes than 2 optima yellows.

I stole that pic. es to list yo locate and take a pic of mine. I never installed it.
I have to move my compresor to get the setup I want. I may move the starting battery to the secondary location and put a 31 in the stock location.
My stock battery seems to be fine running both. I do run the truck when I use either.
Another option is the one I said above running a 27 and 31. We def have options.

That’s using a red arc charge controller? The OGE stuff is so stout and so pricey too lol

It's def pricey. I'll most likely piece mine together and just buy their battery trays. That's a long ways out still. Plenty of other things have priority ahead of batteries.

So I’m looking at new tires to go along with the new gears, 4.88. I’m thinking something like a 295/70/17 would be great but they don’t make KO2s in that size.

Next option up for a KO2 is a 315/70/17 and it even comes in a load range D model. Seems yuge and prolly will need some serious hammering in the wheel wells and cutting and what not

Not sure what to do. Will have 4.88 gears and still not wanting to consider a mud tire.

I don’t think this is an option for me and the tight trails we go through. I’m sure I’ll smash them up easily

I don’t mind hammering the wheel well. Just can’t decide what size tire to go with
