Fixed with LCE kit instead. Talked to the powers that be, and that's his suggestion. Regardless of my cheapass ways, it really is a better kit for only $100 more.

 

My HU hates me. Turned the volumes down and disabled all notifications, still got text tone over the speakers and quietened the music.
The phone is only connected as a media player and for phone (talk) use. The rest is turned off. I've got to be missing something here.....

 

My Note 8 has a separate volume slider for the ringer over bluetooth. My s7 did not. Maybe look for that?

 

Then I wouldn't know I got a text at all if I turned the noti/messaging volume off.


Not that I text and drive because that's bad

I just don't want my music to drop out constantly because the group text of people I wheel with text faster than a 14 year old girl

 

My phone still vibrates. Just doesn't quiet the music or play any sound. Or I can leave the phone ringer up and turn the bt one down and it'll only come through the phone, but the music still get quieter

 

I'm gonna have to check this side out then. I just don't get how it can be this much different. Can't be a carrier issue, unless some kind of software, not the OS, is different.
