I know there’s a list somewhere in this thread and I’ll find it, update and repost this weekend.

But in the meantime, anyone else interested in bringing potluck items?

Trout gear. Rainbows and brookies. Night 2 is a tributary of the pemigewwaset. Just a stone throw north is Newfound lake, which has the clearest water in New England. The lake is very large and I believe has a complete turn over of water every 3 years or so, which is remarkable. Not trying to break the group up, and I won't be going to this place , but those with kids who aren't from around here might consider visiting the polar caves. Camp will be just 30 minutes away and they are neat.

This is going to be a neat trip. I'm excited. Can't promise much as I've never fished the falls, but if anyone's kids want to try fishing and it's not necessarily your thing, I always have a few extra rods and never mind sharing and showing .

From what I understand, the fishing is good before or after the falls. The video shows people catching trout right before the falls and after the falls the river gets much bigger and fishing opportunities are plentiful all the way down to the dam

For any one planning to fish , don't forget to get your licenses online before you leave home. There is no free fishing day on this weekend. Vt and nh have 3 day fishing licenses. Nh also has a 1 day license available.

Yw , I had to check as I wasn't sure when the free day where either. The spot in nh looks like a cool spot to fish.

I'm hoping to find time the week before to smoke a pork butt for pulled pork to go along with the rolls someone said they were bringing .:fingerscrossed:

Also, kids under 16 don't need a license FYI. Just to cover all corners
