Any of you ever break off the tapered part of your misalignment spacer if so how did you get it out?

Oh yeah, happened to me with my mid travel kit a few years ago. I soaked it in penetrating fluid for a couple of days and then used a socket just small enough to fit through the bottom of the tapered hole and beat the bajeezus out of it with a 3lb sledge on my vice...which didn't do a damn thing :) Brought it down to a shop by my house and they used an air chisel on it and it popped right out, the vibration or the air hammer/chisel seems to do the trick.

You sir are a braver man than me, I would have been way too paranoid about scuffing up the inside of the tapered hole to try that !

It might be my eyes playing tricks but the top of the adapter looks like its wallowed/worn pretty bad. I had the same problem with the misalignment cracking and breaking off, but I bought a new one since it was worn out where the misalignment sits.

    Mock up for traditional links
That way we know both the traditional and short course set up fit with little effort

I mean, if you have the money to move from 2 different high-end LT kits in the span of a year you have to be doing something right. My previous statement is not wrong.

The picture I quoted of coilovers and bypasses is more money than I've put into both my trucks. Not griping, just stating the facts.

No not anymore. That feature was the root of a lot of vibration as I started going faster through rough stuff. Be a nice design for a MT or overland rig, but as soon as I went LT, it started causing issues

Indeed, it's a big price jump between the two. But if you can afford the saving up and then the upkeep, I'd jump on it.

    I am
    Haha
The #igy6rescuetruck takes priority in my life

The truck gets used for helping vets and active duty guys going through tough situations in their lives and when they need help or put themselves in danger I hop in the truck and I go as fast as possible to get to them and make sure we help before things get worse
