I just saw Clisby’s old truck, new owner put dodge tow mirrors on it.

 

Yay me

 

Now you just need to slap a sealer coat of primer on that sucker and while it's drying cut the bedsides off your truck and then bolt that sucker on and you'll be ready for next weekend.

Yeah to say the least . I havent had one day with out rain. What kind of primer rusteum red?

 

What color are you painting it? I learned in the painting section of A&P school you should always use a lighter shade of primer under a dark color and a darker shade of primer under a light color to help you see when you have full coverage (not that it mattered since we always used zinc chromate green, lol). @Hugopreston might have a a better explanation that I do, but that's the guide lines I usually follow.

It will be black so a either gray or red with a rust preventer should work. Started the process had a window of no rain. I got the 10 17mm bolts loose and lights out. Ill just need to disconnect the trailer harness. Than its off to .

 

Actually, with black you should go gray... Red primer and black paint are both considered dark colors.

Shit, I don't know what it is, but I can work on my truck almost all day and maybe be a little sore in the morning, but after I put my new LBJ on and put that corner of the truck back together then tested the radiator under heat and pressure for leaks, my cousin came by and was telling me her BF had broken a bolt off in the thermostat housing when they were trying to change the thermostat. I was, okay, I'll come by and take a look. I have some easy-outs and the magic juice. Well, she has an '03 Crown Vic with a 4.6L and it quickly turned into a nightmare where I had to take apart half the front half of the engine to get the lower thermostat housing off to get at the broken bolt. There was enough left on it to get vise grips on it so I figured with the magic juice I could get it out. Turns out I was dead wrong. I ended up breaking the damn thing again, so in the end I had to drill it out and retap the hole. That was Thursday. I'm still sore AF from that shit, from my calves all the way to my shoulders. Cars suck crap.

Well, shit, I never even thought to try Autozone. I tried Pep Boy's and NAPA, and even the stealership. Everyone would have had to order them. She ended up finding a substitute at Lowe's of all places. Cars still suck though.

Haha, I damn sure didn't want to get into that. You shoulda seen the looks on the Ford service guys faces when I pulled up there with Natty. They were like scattering calling out the alarm, "It's the enemy! The Enemy is on the property!"

I think the only way I could have caused more consternation is if I pulled up in a Brodozer Duramax, lol.
