They were out last week, walked back in and three were there. They had been on hold and the individuals had purchasing issues, so back on the rack they went!
    Almost bought all three!

Funniest shit ever. My buddy was always getting delayed, so he got one of those u-pin things. Gives it to the guy behind the counter, and the guy forgets to submit the u-pin when he calls in the check to the atf. Delayed again. He was so angry. :D:D:D

This could be a reach but does anyone here work in the trucking industry that does drayage pickups from Seattle port?

Occasional dropoffs, but only to places that deal with either Alaska or Hawaii. @ChandlerDOOM What's up?

I have a 20’ container that needs picked and moved to a warehouse, but my importer is having issues finding a truck to make the pick up. Trying to avoid demurrage fees if at all possible. Vessel arrives today and unloaded next week sometime

I only drive semi within the port and transport 20'/40' cans to/from the ship & yard.
There's select guys who deal with street rigs and telling them what containers they are to p/u from the port when they're coming in the gates

To me it sounds like that issue falls on your importer and finding a trucking company to get a rig into the port to get your can :notsure:

Yeah I think he was under the impression since I was changing from my usual port that I would be picking up the container myself. First it’s happened

Looks like a truck was found, now I just have to hope for a late availablilty to avoid those late fees

A owner operator I know has been having issues with his k-t800 Cummins, specifically the cam. Apparently they can't get parts for him and are 3months out and they won't interrupt the assembly line supply for one person. Lame.

They are closing that section down. The fellow told me that it wasn't political on the corporations part other than they are headquartered in Oregon and there is a lot of support on a bill which would reduce the variety of firearms they could sell, thus reducing the draw of men into the store. It was to boost the male customer base which is only about 30% and was not a real profitable department. If the new law does go through, the department would be in the red.

I dont know how that section wasnt in the red anyways. Selling things at MSRP when you can drive a couple more miles and save quite a bit of money. I always stopped by when i get groceries and not once did i see someone buying something there.
