    When I was rear ended last September the damages to the 4Runner was $10k including frame damage and they didn’t total it out. There would have had to have been $24k in damage to the 4Runner for insurance to even consider it a total loss.

    I’m so bitter over the whole ordeal, even 9 months after.

    OP - Best thing to do is get someone who knows what they are doing to look at it before buying it. They are pretty vauge in the article and in this case a picture isn't worth that much. Maybe it's as you say, or maybe it's had frame damage. No one knows until they inspect it. If you don't want to fly out, maybe find someone that knows colision repair in the area near the truck and ask them to take a peak and send more pictures. The website says inspections are allowed.
