I’ve gone back in forth on this question. What it comes down to is honestly I haven’t found a wheel out there that I’m in love with. I’m particular. Yes I’m a mess haha. My friend runs a dealership and he says $100 per wheel he can get it done. Obviously he deals in volume and they do all the work on site. That price includes taking tires off, powder coating, remounting tires and balancing all wheels. He is going to give me one of his cars to drive while it’s getting done. It’s a total hook up.

I will continue to look at other wheel options but I need to make sure my brand new bf Goodrich KO2 fit bc I’m not trying to replace those.

I think you can get some 4runner pro wheels for $780 or so. Keep your tires. Sell your stock for $400. You'll be money ahead. You'll also gain an inch of track width. I just did the same with the Tacoma pro wheels. They cost a little more and I still think I was under $400 total including mounting tpms swap and such.

Got somebody with the tools and know-how to put the ECGS bushing into my front axle for me. Too lazy to make my own puller.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Cool, it's got wheels and handle, too.* How do you keep it between the wheel wells (keep it in place)?

    * - If you've ever tried to remove a crossover toolbox full of tools by yourself, you'd know how attractive these features are. I can see sliding this back towards the tail gate (maybe put down some cardboard so it slides easier). Once on the gate, rotate 90 degrees so it goes down wheels first, then roll away for temporary storage in the garage.

The OEM bed mat does the trick, it does not allow it to slide.

I love the oem bed mat. It's nice and "sticky" and keeps things from shifting around. I've got the ACLB, though, and there's space between the wheel wells and the front of the bed. I wouldn't want this thing tumbling forward if I had to brake hard (I plan on using that forward area for other stuff). I think I'd put a strap or two around it, tied down to the bed floor, just in case.

Thanks for pointing out this option. :hattip: Always looking for ways to make best use of the available space.

You're welcome. I still don't think it would move, on a typical drive. Especially with the weight the stuff you would store inside could add. Maybe you could tether the handles to the side of the bed rails.

I should add to my profile: "Safety Nerd". I think about roll-overs, too.

(Just trying to be courteous. The same bunch of guys nice enough to haul my sorry ass to the ER shouldn't also have to pick up my crap from all over the highway. :D)
