I ditched the first LT kit cause it was crap and fell apart almost instantly. And the company wouldn’t stand behind their product and instead chose to email me shit talking.
I went with total chaos because I always liked their stuff to begin with but thought I was getting a better deal with the other kit.
I am only upgrading the front suspension because the rear axel on my truck is unrepairable so I have to buy an aftermarket rear end well ahead of when I planned to do so.
And when ordering the camburg rear end I have the option of picking how wide it is
Meaning I can eliminate wheel spacers.
But by doing so I needed to go to a 3.5 kit or larger
And given the desire to never wanna change it again I just went the largest option.

All previous suspension will be sold off to offset the cost of the new stuff

And at the moment I will only be running a coilover in the rear because I can’t afford the bypasses

Still probably gonna pass. Plus Phoenix in August is miserable. Hot enough up here even. So after bob jumps his raptor, hit me up and we'll get a run going up north where it's cooler

I didn't take into account selling off the old parts to fund the new ones, which is silly of me seeing as I'm selling my old truck to fund the new one. Still a huge investment that not many of us can make, man, that's the point I was making. I'm sure your truck will look sweet when it's all said and done. So good luck to ya.

Alright I’m gonna have to vent here for a minute. First @Caboose117 is far from the only guy in this thread that has tossed a pile of cash at his truck and he is still stacks of cash behind some of the guys in this thread so you all need to back the fuck off and quit giving the guy a hard time. He is also far from the first guy to rebuild his truck hell nearly all of us have made a mistake or two and then started over. No one should be getting their panties in a wad because he spent a few hundred bucks on getting his shocks coated either. If this shit bothers you because you can’t afford it then either move the hell out of SoCal to escape the cost of living or man up and work your ass off to grow a career so you can afford nicer toys. Giving someone a hard time because they can afford something is seriously uncool and you need to check yourself or GTFO. Aaaand last but not least anyone that continued this line of bullshit after reading that he is a disabled veteran needs to GTFO too and learn some damn respect.

So I go to a local distributor for steel it here in Colorado to pick up a few cans. As I’m there out side the shop I shoot the shit with the guy and he ask me if I was building a rock crawler looking at my truck. I told him no. It’s a LT truck. I mention like the ones they race in Baja. He say all really. Takes me inside his shop and walks me to another room and shows me this. Very cool guy for sure.

Being as I am a veteran, I know that being a "disabled veteran" doesn't necessarily mean anything. Just because someone got disabled doesn't mean it was in the line of duty. Could have been a car accident, genetic disorder, or any other weird shit that can fuck someone up. I don't know what caboose's situation is, nor do I really care. Being a "disabled veteran" isn't a license it talk nonsense and not be called out on it.

    You mean recently.....right?

Not really sure why stating facts is making me come across as worse, but honestly, if it does then so be it.

    Good advice.

I have nothing but respect for veterans who have served in the line of duty for our country, and I'll say that every time. I made a comment in regards to how much was in his truck, a comment on the internet, not an accusation or defamation of his position as a veteran. You folks came up with that. I apologize that it was taken personally and feelings were hurt in the process.

    Ohmagawd I'm done.

    Sall good
I wasn’t trying to wave my veteran dick
I was trying to clarify the limits of my budget and how I justify the use of the vehicles upgrades.
My response got blown out too. So
    No worries
