Lots of good things happening in this country right now. Makes me very happy, and profitable.
Quit a difference from the previous 10 years.
Yet some are now predicting a recession coming. And doing it with glee it seems. I know why they are so gleeful about it, and that is disgusting imo. Also know why they are predicting it. But we never came out of the last “downturn”, which flat out was a depression, till now. So I think that throws off the 10 year buisness cycle. At least I hope so. And as far as these tariffs go, I’m thinking the one with the new ideas knows what he is doing more so than the naysayers who have been using the same playbook for the last 30-40 years and failing. I ain’t skeered.

 

Good morning ya’ll, slept like a rock. It’s going to be a wet weekend for me, but we need the rain.

 

It was good till the sun was up. We were out about 4 miles after snagging some bait in the harbor.
Got a little sporty on the way in.
Still better than the yard work I'm about to dive into.

Keeping busy this morning! Just a small chance of showers so the patrons are hitting the beach. The Gulf is like a lake, and it’s hot and humid. Looks some clouds building to the north, but will probably rain it self out before it hits the coast! Get out and enjoy the Day Peeps!!

The plans passed...except for one stamp. They got the stamp and will get the permits Monday.

Then the architect scolded me for making changes.

He made changes to what I originally asked and I had him correct his mistake.

If he was in front of me I would bitch-slap him.

More is always better, well 52” might be a little excessive.

I cut 3/4” plywood into a spade and lag bolted to the bottom of the 4”X4” and drove it into the ground 3’+. It does not move!

Just got home from a dump run, old couch gone, only got charged $20 for everything because I broke the couch down and it fit in the dumpsters.
Stopped at the GM dealer for spark plugs for the Solstice. Take some perverse pleasure in parking my Toyota front and center in front of the dealership!
