After the first, back wall install and the 2 rear doors, figured I had it down and could do it much faster. But ended up getting all DaVinci artistic and started mini-tiling the few small gaps I had and worse. OCD kicked in and no meds, except Dos Equis.....
And yeah, drove to Galveston this morning for beach volleyball tournament, really quiet, voices, evil, You must kill mommy and daddy....

Kept you safe, and from what I can tell the damage is worst for the other vehicle. Did it strike the hitch for the most part?

Everyone is fine except for her pride. I was stopped and she was going 10-15 mph. My hitch took the brunt of it, but I also have damage to some of the plastic bumper parts and the tailgate. I had just derped the bumper end caps last saturday.:annoyed:

Sounds like things could have gone worse.

    Time for a re-derp!

On the bright side, you can probably get color matched or black bumper caps now on behalf of her insurance.

Or a new bumper. *evil laugh*

Thanks. It could have been worse.

The hitch is damaged as well as some of the bumper components. I'm shooting for a plate bumper. For a split second after she hit me I was pissed then visions of bumpers danced through my head.

Man. Those wheels are fire. I almost bought the exact same ones in that 20% off sale on eBay the other day, and I have the same truck in the same color with the same tires. After seeing this, I’m really wishing I had pulled the trigger. The only reason I didn’t (other than money) was because I disliked the big 8 in the center, but damn it looks good

As I had mentioned, it did really increase the clarity of the music and really made the bass thump as in feeling it.
If I would have known it was that much better I would have done it when I upgraded with the Crutchfield speakers and Suburu tweeters.
So backwall was slow going since it took more piece parting as opposed to larger sheets/sections and filling in all the harder to get areas, because the way the back wall is framed, and I frikin covered everything even back behind some of the side wall plastic pieces, no doubt overkill, total time 3 hrs. And frankly I don’t think it makes much of a difference sound wise to warrant covering as much as I did.
Maybe not even do it at all since there is a plastic covering back there and you have the back seats.
Back doors total, first one was 2.5 hrs, second one 2 hrs.
Front passenger 2.5 hrs. That includes a few short 5 min breaks for water etc.

I also have Aries floor mats that have a plastic foam of sorts that has sound deadening qualities.

Regardless, just the sound enhancement is worth it even IF it didn’t do any sound deadening(it did quite a bit though).

Yes the spare fits in the regular spot. It touches the exhaust hanger and it’s pretty close to the small exhaust heat shield so I may have to figure something out but just watching the tire to make sure it isn’t getting cooked. Not all 285s measure exactly the same tho
