Story of my life nothing ever is easy. Ready to push the taco over a cliff then set it on fire and buy a new one. But I won’t cause I love my truck just hate the body shops that have worked on her.

Installed new headlamps nothing lined up and the last body shop just used sheet metal screws to hold the headlamp in. I straightened things out so all the holes lined up. I went to put in my new grill and the bottom fit perfectly into The headlamps but the driver side is too high:annoyed:

I’m going to put in the old shave it down put on the new bumper and take it to a body shop for the new grill.

Thunderstorms all day of course so another day of working in the rain. Good news though my rust conversion is going well and the frame is looking better.

Does your hood line up with the fender at the windshield? It looks to be to far forward.

This.... But steps 1-3 are unnecessary. Hold trip reset button & turn key. It'll flash all dashes "- - - - -" on the odometer & then count down until the dashes are gone, about 4 seconds. Boom. Done.

Paint dried on the fire extinguisher mount, now just sewing a neoprene “boot” if you will on the lower mount that’ll constantly be in contact with the underside of the can. I don’t know how much truck/road vibrations would impact the can over time, but I also don’t want to find out!

In my opinion, if you're going to take on the steering rack bushings you should go ahead and do the inner/outer tie rods while the steering rack is out of the truck (wasn't that hard for me and a lot of people fail to replace the inners with it in the truck). I can't say for sure how much the bushings made a difference on their own, because I replaced a lot all at once. The factory bushings on my truck (2007 w/110k) were definitely in rough shape, and the energy suspension bushings seem to be a better design. After doing the baja suspension (1.5-2" lift) I definitely have the differential needle bearing vibration when in 2H that goes away in 4H, and will need to do the ECGS bushing now.
