I would assume. Unless you're able to get it all off. Even then, spray paint isn't the same quality of automotive paint.

Damn it. I really don’t feel like putting in the effort to blackout my badges but I feel it makes such a difference with the cement. I am usually a fan of debadging but I think black badges looks even better with this color.

    Beauty rig mate.

I've never debadged a vehicle before, but the Tacoma requires it in.my opinion. The lonely chrome v6 badge is laughable. I debated blacking them out, but once I had them off, I thought it looked way better.

Yes. I am sure once my lazy ass removes them, the chances of them getting painted and put back on the truck are between slim and 0.

Just got her 2 days ago. first thing I did was AC Mod, then put the stock tires on Pro rims and added ceramic tint

gonna add black vinyl lettering today for tailgate, install a tool box in the truck bed, hopefully plastidip the chrome Tacoma emblem, and remove the v6 badge.

That's my exact mod scheduled for tomorrow as soon as ups gets here, lol. Looks way better. Couple questions. Does the sensor just unplug or is there a trick to it? Also, do you remove all the screws, or just the chrome clips?

At the top of the grill there is a connection that you unplug and it has one plastic tab that holds the wires to the grill. There are 2 10mm bolts to remove at the top of the grill and 2 plastic tabs to pop out. I used a screwdriver on those. Then you lift and pull away. Have a table ready with a towel on it to lay the grill assembly on upside down. There are 8 phillips screws around perimeter of chrome bezel. They must be removed. They connect bezel to grill. When those are out, the chrome tabs are the bezel tabs. Black tabs hold grill to painted surround. Squeeze chrome tabs and push thru and bezel comes out. I squeezed them with my fingers and I aint that strong. None of mine broke but they are bezel tabs so who cares. I will try and post a couple of pics soon. Hope this helps. I am horrible at this stuff and it took about 30 minutes

20180610_174043.jpg pop these tabs up with a flat screwdriver. There are 2. One by each headlight. Careful, they can go flying and get lost (ask me how I know). Then reove 2 bolts and unhook wire harness and clip holding up wires. When everything circled is removed, lift up and pull out.
