Debadged Tailgate

 

Also while I was putting on my custom decals (Pain in the a$$) I plasti dipped the "tacoma" badges on my buddies 2018 cement trd sport and debadged his tailgate.

 

Cut off my hoseclamp “tailgate lock” with the tools shown in less than 10 seconds, then added a bright orange Sabellco lock instead:

Other options can include a cable put into the tailgate, or a thicker type of hose clamp. Dont use these stainless automotive hose clamps, not worth it!

 

Installed a hidden light bar with Sasquatch switch and back seat cover for the new puppy.

Fall and winter preparation... We placed two tripods and a ladder stand.

Moreover, it was the first off road excursion for my newly purchased Taco.

 

Had the hood wrapped with some black gloss vinyl.

It’s plasti dip. 6 coats. I did the same to my last Tacoma and it held up just fine through two winters and multiple car washed. I took the grill off to do it which is very easy

I agree with this. Maybe down the road I’ll get the SR bezel. For now though, this works and was cheap
