The fit on both is top notch. Everything lines up well and bolts right in. If it wasn't raining like hell outside I'd go snap some close up pics for you to show how it lines up.

Here's a good thread where both vendors give their input. The main takeaway is relentless is one piece whereas mobtown is a two piece.

We offered them as a two piece because some wanted just the plate and others just the cap. We will say the relentless one will be stronger, the one piece design will deflect less. But I’ll follow up and saying I’ve had waaaaaaay too much weight on my skin and cap, way more than what the trucks payload was and had no issues.

I built these sliders out of 2" stainless tubing. It was not a cake walk but they are done and I won't have to worry about rust. Still have another coat of flat black rust oleum.

Head lights make it look like a new truck. Money well spent.

Has anybody built their own grill guard? I am thinking of trying that with the same SS square tubing.

Not on my tacoma but on my old dodge n blazer n jeep I did. Use coat hangers to lay out your wanted design n cardboard. Easier n cheaper to set up. Seen people use wooden dowels. Just take your time and cover the front with a good welding blanket when doing spot welds.

Just a little piddily job today. The other day I was poking around underneath and noticed the 4 small bolts on the bottom corners of the rear bumper were corroded, despite seemingly being galvanized.

Replaced them with some stainless bits.

Replaced serpentine belt and 3 idler pulleys with Gates:

2 x #36173 for the two upper pulleys.
2 x #36174 for the lower and tension pulley.

Has anyone replaced JUST the pulley on the tensioner arm, without replacing the entire arm? Figured out the hard way it was reversed threaded, but ended up not replacing it (Gates #36174) because it was in decent shape.

Also, why the hell aren't the OEM bearings sealed? God damn it Toyota...

Most of those tensioners shouldn't but hard to find just the pulley.
