Happened to me once when I had my Camry. Stopped in traffic and see a big truck barreling down on me. He slammed on the brakes at the last minute and swerved into the other lane. Second time it happened, cargo van was doing the same thing, except he didn't hit the brakes. Swerved into the other lane, and let the guy behind him hit me... I got some upgrades out of it and a few months at the chiro (so far)

I don’t get onto 9, I commute clinton to Upton so I go under it at tractor supply. I used to take 70 to 140 but boylston is all messed up where they’re putting in a fedex and Grafton has some gnarly traffic now that 140/122 is under construction. Can’t go 495 Home because the main road into town is going to be under construction for the next 2-4 years. So backroads it is.

I made a friend this morning.

By Friend I mean she was a total C-Note and put a couple bite shaped dings in an aluminum shovel. Bigger in real life than the pictures show. standing in the road after digging up someone’s lawn for a nest I assume. Head about the size of a tennis ball. Had to borrow a aluminium snow shovel to move it out of the road. Hope it was terrorized enough to stay away from the road and go to the other side of the pond.

Love these things but on a 35MPH rd it could probably ruin the oilpan on most sedans.

Very jealous! I spent the morning doing yard work. Trimming hedges, cleaning up the rest of the sand left behind from winter, pruning trees and taking a couple small ones out, etc. moved on to tire rotation now that my new torque wrench arrived. Had to beat the shit out of the wheels to get them off of the hubs. I liberally applied never seize when I put them back on so hopefully that doesn't happen again. Also polished each wheel inside and out when I had them off the truck. The stock brake pads dust like crazy!

Changed the oil in the F-150 today. Ended up doing it myself. I've never had anyone change oil for me, so I'm not going to start now.

Cartridge filter is no big deal. I actually like the plastic drain plug too, but I don't like where they put it.

You ain't lying. My mother's ravs have never done that well. She doesn't have a heavy foot, but I recall you saying that you had gotten a pretty good feel for the engine in that one.

Great meeting and chatting with you - thanks again. I learn a lot from chats like that.

Man, I'm fucking beat. Been out and about all day since 9am, and only now getting a chance to relax, along with my oldest. Started at 9 am when a guy up the road from me came by with his backhoe to rip out two stumps from when my trees fell. Helped him chain them up and stuff, to rip out. Then took the oldest to t-ball from 11 to 12. Came home and we were outside until 5. Cleaning up the area the stumps were in, bullshiting with my neighbors, watching my son play with my next door neighbor's daughter... Then my son went to my neighbor across the street because he set up a slip and slide for his kids, so my son wanted to go play. While he was there I weedwacked and cut the grass. Blew off my backyard because the grass grows like crazy back there so it was a mess. Came in at 5, took a shower with my son, quick dinner, and off to the Portuguese Club for an outdoor festival they're having. Just got home about half hour ago, and now laying down with my son trying to get him to fall asleep, while the Mrs tries to put the youngest pain in the ass to sleep. I'm surprised my son didn't crash yet. No nap all day, and has been playing non-stop. I'm fucking exhausted and might fall asleep before he does.

Is this really a BS thread, as in any (congenial) topic?

Like, what’s up with all this pollen this week? Or, where in NE are good off-road trails with MUD?

I've had mine since probably...2014? and still haven't done it. I actually think I made a thread about a weatherproof switch at one point.

I dove in to mulching today. I probably worked for just under 5 hours and I still have like 2/3 of my 10 cubic yards left to spread. Going to hit it hard again tomorrow. It's coming along well though.

Every time you post food pictures I want to puke. I have a very limited pallet so I am not a good judge of things, but it looks like you say "what is the weirdest shit you sell? Okay give me that" everywhere you go. I do envy your ability to just eat whatever though

Yes, anything and everything gets talked about in here. Pollen has had me picking at my eyes non-stop and stalking up on allergy meds. No idea about mud wheeling, if you go after it rains I bet you could find some in most places though. Might be hard to find a southern type mud park though.

The pollen has been floating around here like green fog clouds. I can never recall it being like this.

I never used to be affected by pollen as much as I have this year. It is crazy. The whole house has been hacking and coughing for weeks now.
