When they mentioned that I was crossing my fingers. But if I don't keep the sequoia it would be useless to me.

I won nothing, but I did get simultaneously pummeled by a couple of T-shirts. Should’ve bought leaf springs while I was there and installed em tomorrow. Silly me.

Can't believe USPS gets away with lieing about package deliveries. This is the 3rd time where they told Amazon that my package is ready to pickup to satisfy the 2 day prime shipping when the package wasn't delivered.

I feel your pain. Amazon and their partnership with USPS has gotten terrible over the last year or so.

Have been thinking of canceling my prime membership when it is time to renew and this mishap and terrible Amazon customer service has put the nail in the coffin for renewal. Looked up when prime autorenews and it was yesterday...:annoyed:

Our icemaker that I ordered was supposed to be here Wednesday, it got hung up in Jersey somewhere.

They're now saying we'll get it Tuesday, but I'm not holding my breath.

That's exactly what I did last year. Figured since I never get my shit delivered in 2 days I might as well not pay for Prime and take the free 5-7 day delivery.
Btw, I think you can still cancel and they'll prorate reimburse you.

I think it's more USPS than Amazon, we're Prime members too.

Most of our orders come via UPS, THOSE we get in 2 days. The USPS deliveries are an eternal clusterfuck.

Also looks like I can cancel for a full refund since I haven't placed a order yet. Only problem is I will need prime in the next two weeks for all the stuff I have to order before I move. This is the last year at $99 price for prime so I guess I will keep it for a year(I know I could just pay for a month). You win this round Amazon. I will be complaining everytime a order is late though. They gave me $15 gift card this time.

I'll have to try that for the icemaker.

I know it's USPS fault. It's not a one time incident. It's multiple times now and people of the interwebs are having the same issues. End of the day Amazon guarantees 2 day delivery and because they went with the cheaper shipping route using USPS they take the blame. I will take my business elsewhere next year to a company that doesn't use usps.

I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new from old stock 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
I won the very last thing raffled off & even though the number was read 1 number at a time I just didn't think I read it right. I didn't realize I won until my date started yelling that the winner was me. I also didn't hear the full description of what it was so I thought I was getting an Icon tool bag & a bunch of stickers & koozies. I open the bag & there's this envelope inside. Inside was a coupon for a set of 4 17" Icon wheels! I've never won $1,000 before.

Calling them is easier than chat. They will either give you a free month of prime or gift card. Depending on who you talk to. With them using usps I think it would be possible to get endless prime for free if you order enough stuff.

So you didn't get to fully embrace everybody being happy for you and hating you at the same time? That's a shame. Congrats on the big score of the day!

    That's certainly fair.

Your location shows "The Mountains". I'm curious, does UPS/FedEx generally deliver to your area? I have friends that live in Drake, and I don't think I've ever seen a UPS truck heading either way up 34.
